Saint Andrew’s Day

St. Andrews Day also called the Feast of Saint Andrew or Andermas is the feast day of Andrew the Apostle. It is annually celebrated on November 30th and is an official national holiday in Scotland.

In Scotland and many countries with Scottish connections, Saint Andrew’s day is marked with a celebration of Scottish culture, and with traditional Scottish food and music. The Antigonish Highland Society typically hosts a dinner with a Toast to the Haggis and an assortment of local entertainment.
